Durian pastries

Had a short catch up with my girls at Goodwood park Hotel. Yeah as y'all know, durian season...... We went there for the huge variety of durian spread. That D24 rainbow cake that i had been looking forward to actually disappoint me. The coloring was too strong, and the cake had the 'Play-doh' taste. We ordered the others like the "Mao shan wang horn" that wasn't that bad, and the durian bread was like the best.

They have this on going durian pastries buffet till 2nd August (Prices extracted from site)
  • $35.80++ per person aged 6 years and above (Dessert Buffet with Durian Pastries only)
  • $28.80++ per person aged 6 years and above (Top-up of Dessert Buffet with Durian Pastries with any a la carte main course order)
  • $49.80++ per adult, $24.90++ per child aged 6 to 11 years (Taiwan Porridge A La Carte Buffet which includes Dessert Buffet with Durian Pastries)
  • $45.80++ per person | $48.80++ per person (3-Course | 4-Course Design Your Own Local Degustation Menu, which includes Dessert Buffet with Durian Pastries)

We find it not really worth it hence we ordered al-la-cart and share as we don't really eat much. Unless you can eat ALOT, the buffet price would be worth it.

Strolled around orchard with my girls.
