3 Day 2 Night Bangkok For GIRLS (Part 2)

Day Two...

Our initial plan was to go to the restaurant beside the Wanton mee stall for fried rice and omelette but unfortunately it was under renovation :-( We went to platinum mall food court instead for breakfast. Ordered 3 dishes and comes up to less than 100baht($4) only. We had some light shopping and our itinerary is to Siam area for the day!

We took a tuktuk over from Pratunam area to Siam square at around 150 baht. We alighted near the well-known hellokitty cafe, and Inter restaurant was just across the road (Siam square Soi 9). They sells local dishes and it was really awesome.

The tom yum kung is a must to have! Super yumz.

My first time trying the appetizer, Mid wings and it was heavenly!! We even ordered a 2nd serving...

Phad Thai.

After lunch, we decided to head to Asiatique riverfront. We took BTS from Siam station, to Saphan Taksin BTS, and you can get the free shuttle ferry service to Asiatique every 15 minutes interval from 4pm to 11pm.

On the ferry.....

The area is a little similar to Jatujak area just that it isn't that hot lol. It's a good place to snap nice photos too. Head towards the Factory district if you wanna do some shopping. They have lots of fake brandeds there too lol, even Rolex watches which cost around 4000baht and up.

There's a huge ferris wheel at Asiatique too! If i didn't remember wrongly, it cost around 300-400 baht for adults and 200baht for kids.

We took the ferry back at around 7pm, and Tuktuk back to Siam. Went to Naraya located at Siam discovery to get some loots (Sells mainly floral bags, cosmetic pouches, tissue cases, etc) Prices from 35baht for tissue case and around 300baht for tote bags and so on. Good for gifts!

Next stop for dinner was Greyhound cafe located at Siam center. I did my itinerary and i've gotten a list of must-haves... The salmon, prawn bisque, bake spinach with cheese and sausages, crabmeat linguine, and lastly sea salt caramel chocolate cake etc.

We ended up only having the salmon, prawn bisque, bake spinach and crabmeat linguine as we weren't that hungry. Our bill came up to around $40-$50sgd (cant really remember) but it was worth the price! Slurps...

We shopped around Siam night market which was opposite Siam paragon and all the way down. The apparels there are mostly 200baht and above but you can find really nice items there.

Took a Taxi back to Palladium night market which is just opposite Platinum mall. Last shopping with lots of customize stuffs available there suitable for gifts!

And that marks the end of our Day two itinerary.

Day Three...

The last day in bangkok. Woke up earlier and went downstairs to pack breakfast back for my girls. Just nearby our hotel.... Omelette(80 baht), fried rice(80 baht), Chicken cutlet rice(30 baht).

Big C supermart was just walking distance away from pratunam area but we chose to take a tuktuk over haha we were charged 50baht. Hard to grab a Taxi as they quote a minimum of 100 baht.

Shopped lots of Tibits!

We took a Taxi over to Union mall via meter fare (130baht), you'll be quoted around 200-300baht as most of the drivers will tell you that it is far. Union mall is like Platinium mall but slightly cheaper loots over there. We specially went there for A&W and the fried icecream!

Went macdonals to get Happy meal because my princess wants to collect the HOME movie toy..... And their happy meal cost only around $3.50sgd!

And thats all for our 3-day itinerary. We took a Taxi back to the airport at 350baht.... Spent our last dollar at the airport with lots of food lol. HAD A GREAT 3 DAYS WITH MY GIRLSSSSS xoxo

3 Day 2 Night Bangkok For GIRLS

A simple 3 days Bangkok Itinerary for GIRLS only. **Cus with lots of shopping lol.

If you're having a hard time planning your itinerary for your bangkok trip, here's of what i had come up with for our 3 day 2 night plans (7th to 9th April). Almost everything went as planned! It was sorted by location so it makes traveling much easier.... Most of the places planned in this trip was where i've never been after uncountable times to bkk, i wanted to explore something new.

Day One....

We arrived at Bangkok in the morning, we decided to save cost hence we took BTS(Train) from Suvarnabhumi airport to Ratchaprarop station. It is 6 stops away from the airport, around a 30 minutes ride and cost only 40baht. (It will cost you around 350-400 baht if you choose to flag a taxi, and it takes around the same time to reach Ratchaprarop too). Ratchaprarop station is the popular Pratunam area, where you can find cheap stuffs, awesome road side stalls etc!

We stayed at Budacco Hotel, i've been there for more than 3 times. It's considered quite clean and the service was not bad for a 3-star hotel. Other recommended hotels near that area i've been to before would be Cozi-inn and Blutique (the alley beside Budacco). All are affordable hotels at less than $80sgd per night :-)

We dropped our baggage and went for the famous Wanton mee for breakfast located at 4/32 Soi Petchburi 19, just 5 minutes away from our hotel. (Total: Approx $8sgd)

We changed abit of currency in singapore at a rate of 23.8, but sadly the rate was only 23.75 over there. It was the best exchange rate i could find in pratunam area so far, it's just lcoated on the right after exiting the alley from our hotel.... (The 2nd day the rate was 23.8 too) *Recommended to bring big notes like $50 or $100 as the rate will be higher. I passed some $10 notes and the rate was only 23.55

We went for shopping at Pratunam Market and Platinum mall theafter as it is much cheaper compared to Siam area so incase the girls bought something similar at a higher price if we head to Siam first........ So our shopping spree starts! You will be able to find those 'blogshop' apparels from 100baht($4)!

Finished our shopping early and we were quite hungry, decided to leave earlier for dinner at T&K seafood, it is located in Chinatown(Yaraowat), nearest station would be Hualamphong. The staff are all dressed in green, incase you get to the wrong restaurant as there are lots of seafood restaurants over that area. We took a Tuktuk there and it cost us 200baht($8). I read up reviews and it says that it only opens at 6pm but we arrived at around 5pm, the outdoor seats wasn't set up but we were brought indoors which was even better! Airconditioned!! Hehe. We walked up to the 3rd level for seats as it was quite packed.

We ordered prawns, veggie, fried rice, fish, birdnest, oysters. The bill came up to 1040baht($43sgd) for the 3 of us. The oysters was really big and fresh and it was served with fried onions which were awesome, only 50baht($2sgd) per piece!!!!!

We went to Saphan Phut night market after our dinner. We used GPS and walked around 10 minutes and we actually reached a pier. We were told to take a ferry at 15baht over to the night market, but nobody actually collected the fare from us even after we alighted... The night market is near the memorial bridge. Mainly shoes, clothes, bags, accessories.

Saphan Phut night market
Opening hours : (Thursday - Tuesday) 07:00 P.M. - 12:00 A.M.

We went over to Khao San night market via Taxi after Saphan Phut. It was just minutes drive away. It was much busier than Saphan phut which was really quiet. Stalls will quote you a high price for items as you see lots of tourists there, so just offer a price that you deem reasonable. We were quoted 300baht for a slippers but ended up paying only 160baht for it in the end. Shop smart!

Khao San night market
Opening Hours: 09:00 - 16:00 (Wednesday - Sunday)

Bought supper back from nearby our hotel's roadside stalls. The banana egg prata is a must have. The prata guy's stall will mostly be just beside the 7-11. Only 40baht :-D The phad thai was good too.

Bangkok / Hajime Robot Restaurant

Things to do in bangkok :

Ditch aside all those mainstream cafes in Bangkok. Try the unique Hajime ROBOT restaurant located at Monopoly park in Bangkok! It's abit out of town, if you're able to get a taxi by metre, it cost around 150 baht. But it seems quite hard to get a cab because the drivers mention that they won't be able to get a passenger after they drop us there, we were quoted 300 baht to get there from pratunam...

Yes as stated, it is a robot restaurant. So expect to be served by robots instead of humans (A samurai robot) haha. A very rare experience thou! We took BBQ buffet which cost 499baht($20sgd). Ordering via ipad, free flow of salmons, beef, chicken, squid, prawns and much more! It's all worth it and i swear the food was awesome too!!!!

Robot serving us food. Within minutes the robot will arrive to your table, to hand over your orders through a window next to it. The robot waiters zip along a track between tables and after passing through trays they then disappear to the back kitchen for the next order. When you have finished with empty plates, do stack them back on the tray and the robot comes to collect.

Dance performance by the robots every half an hour interval :-) Soooo cute. Songs from gangnam style to nobody but you to whichever kpop songs lol

Shannon dancing with it hahaha

We'll be back!!!

Bangkok / Art in Paradise

Things to do in bangkok :

ART IN PARADISE is similar to the one in singapore(trick eye museum). Just that it cost only 16sgd and there are 2 levels! I think its so much bigger and better compared! It's also not packed also, you dont even have to queue for hours like in singapore lol. You have all the time to take your photos perfectly..... So, i guess its a must to visit if you're at Bangkok!

It is located at Bangkok, The esplanade mall.
